Best cuppa tea

Hiya,

I have been suffering with flu this week so needed something to cheer me up, in comes a lovely cup of hot tea, which I thought I'd review for you.

Teapigs

I actually discovered this brand after being handed a free sample at Manchester train station then loved it so much I ordered more. So A+ for their marketing team, just shows good products aren't hard to sell.

Firstly I really love the designs and nothing signifys a British staple then a British bull dog. I decided to go with earl grey strong as I do need my kick of caffeine to get me through the days. I allowed this to infuse in boiling water for 3 minutes.

I had this with a drop of milk and one teaspoon of sugar. And it's just such a delicate taste which really warms you up. Recommend with a biscuit or two!

Then I tried their Green Tea with Mint which I had without milk and with 2 teaspoons of sugar. Was delicious and I truly recommend if you have stomach ache as mint is a natural tummy soother!

The thing I love about this brand are their pyramid tea bags as I feel that you're getting pure tea leaf flavour in every cup.

Hope you enjoyed my review and let me know if you've tried any other flavours.
You can visit the brand www.teapigs.co.uk

Love, Lauretta xx

(Ps. Just to clarify this is an honest review of a product I bought and recommend to my readers)

How to Spot a FAKE Barbour Jacket!

Hi there,

The other day my friend gave me an unwanted gift, to my surprise it was a Barbour Jacket!! It was a Small so was a tad too snug for her. I agreed to sell it on eBay for her as she didn't have an account and I was pretty excited in selling a great fashion item Brand New with Tags!

However when I started taking pictures of the jacket I noticed a couple of odd things, it was quite obvious that it wasn't right. With a Barbour tag and label, I didn't know counterfeits could be so blatant.

So I put my FASHION DETECTIVE hat on (theme tune playing in my head), call me a Fashion Poirot if you wish, minus the moustache...and the accent. Anyways I did some searching on the web and found that YES it was a FAKE dum dum dunnn!!

So I thought i'd post a few pics just so none of you should ever, by accident buy a fake as I'm sure ebay will be riddled with them!

Differences between Real and Fake Barbour

- This design doesn't exist! I could not find any Black Quilted Womans jacket with only 2 pockets on the front and no buttons.

- Tag says "100% Polyester" but Barbour jackets state "100% Polyamide"

- Size "S" White tag - Real Barbour jackets have also the sizing 10-12 etc.

-The buttons are never plain, they always say "Barbour".

I have to say that the jacket from a distance looks convincing with the labelling and the Royal stamp of approval, but close up the stitching and quality is very poor.

Below is a photo of the REAL Barbour Jacket, for Fashion brands make sure you go to a registered seller.

Number 3 - If your fellow always goes beetroot in the face and all shy when he says "I Love You", then he should just let a cute cuddly bear say it! We haven't really grown up, a bear is always cute and when we hug him, we'll think of our man.

Number 4 - Beautiful Red Roses always have the wow factor, simple yet effective. I would always moan if I didn't receive any flowers, so its always a wise move to buy some! Bonus if he sprinkles some petals around!

lingerieNumber 5 - What says a romantic evening for two like some pretty lingerie.......HANG ON , no i do not want to receive some sheer see through lingerie which i'll only wear once then hide away. This is what men THINK we want but we would much rather be snuggled up in a onesie thankyou very much.

Hollie Dollie

Hi guys,

I know it's been forever I have been very busy with everything it seems, but i'm back "Hello" hehe.

Right so I thought I'd kick things off by telling you of this AMAZING cute little online boutique i found at www.holliedollie.co.uk. I prefer to buy from small shops as you are really making a difference to small businesses instead of huge cooperate ones and you get that personal touch too. I ordered a couple of things and they were packaged in such a cute pink tissue paper and in a pink mailer bag, just felt like a present in the post. Which other big fashion website would you get that personal wrapping from? Also the delivery is only £1 which I think is great as there are no shocking moments at the checkout (that always puts me off, i wanna buy the products not the delivery charge!). I think the prices are really reasonable too and quality is great. I bought a girly Iphone cover and an amazing ring, but this is my best of the rest.

Here are my favourite picks off www.holliedollie.co.uk

Sparkly Iphone 4 Case £6.99

Skull print scarf,Alexander Mcqueen Style only £6.99!

Spike Triange Necklace £6

Gold Plated Cross Bracelet £5

Moustache Man Necklace £8

Skinny vs Curvy?

Who's your role model?

In magazines, shop windows, TV adverts and any fashion marketing campaign, we are bombarded with images of “perfect” women. These are typically extremely thin women who make us believe that we should look like them to look good in those clothes.

Do they really look sexy?
Are they what women should look like?

I know I’m not the only one who wishes for these images to just STOP

Keira Knightley
LeAnn Rimes
I want to see real curvy beautiful women who haven’t starved themselves by eating celery for months before the photo shoot to look insanely skinny. I find some models/celebs disturbingly thin and wish that as women we could just accept that we don’t have to be all the same size. Some people are naturally skinny but no woman has naturally zero muscles or fat on her body, with ribs poking through. NO. Fashion should be about individuality and having fun.

Life is too short, let's just enjoy our shape!!

Women come in all shapes and sizes, which should be represented by the fashion media.

I hope the tide is turning and women embrace their body shape and curves, check out these celebs who are just allowing their body to do its own thing. Don’t they just look gorgeous, sexy and womanly?!?

Kelly Clarkson
Kim Kardashian

Adele
Christina Aguilera

Beyonce
Gemma Collins
